Video Game Review: The 7th Saga (Super NES)

The 7th Saga is not what I expected when I started playing. Visually this game is outstanding, great soundtrack, and based on the instruction manual the story has lots of promise. There were a few things that made this game difficult to say, “It’s a great game for all to enjoy”. It’s not. You will need to be the type of player that appreciates the endless EXP grind. You’ll also be the type that draws your own map or figure out math formulas why EXP isn’t being distributed correctly. Some people like doing those things and others won’t. So, this isn’t a bad or good game but a game that needs more time dedicated than normal.
