Joyhauser: Start – 0:13  and   End – 6:35
Up first are Joris Cielen and Stijn Vanspauwen. They are a DJ and producer duo known as Joyhauser. They met in 2004 and quickly became friends. They shared a love of music, and both were from Bilzen, a small town in Belgium. They started organizing parties together, and their events quickly. In 2006, they visited the seminal festival I Love Techno. This experience had a profound effect on them, and they decided to pursue DJ-ing more seriously and quickly gained notoriety for their innovative sets. Crawler is out now via B-Track Entertainment and it’s on all streaming platforms. In 2017, Joris and Stijn decided to start a DJ and production company. From the outset, Stijn was adamant that they wouldn’t release anything until he thought it was good enough. They took their time, patiently refining their productions and honing a style that was unique to them. Our next artist is HNQO. He is a Brazilian DJ and producer who has been making waves in the electronic music scene. His unique style combines elements of house, techno, and afrobeat, and his label Playperview is quickly become an essential outlet for contemporary club sounds. Here is a listen to his latest track: Lone Traveller.

Shawn Mendes has announced that he is taking a three-week break from his tour to focus on his mental health. Shawn says that after speaking with his team and health professionals, he needs some time to heal and take care of himself. This break will allow Shawn to focus on his mental health and wellbeing, so that he can continue to give the best performances possible for his fans.

In other news. Insomniac Music Group has joined forces with Sony Music, in a move that is sure to have a major impact on the electronic music landscape. This groundbreaking partnership will see the two companies working together on A&R initiatives, as well as royalty collection and administration.

This is a hugely positive development for Insomniac, who will now be able to offer their producers and songwriters a range of new and improved services, including in-house accounting and an online royalty portal. That’s it for the news, now let’s get back to the music.

Disco Lines is the project of Thadeus Labuszewski, a software engineering student at the University of Colorado. His unofficial remix of Taylor Swift’s “Love Story” went viral on TikTok, racking up over five million plays. Since then, Disco Lines has continued to release a steady stream of original songs, including “TECHNO + TEQUILA”. Take a listen to his latest release Baby Girl.

Baby Girl is out now via Arista Records and its available on all streaming platforms. Disco Lines’ success in the dance community has been years in the making. We are going to take a brief, break for some music news.

Trance, progressive house music producer and one half of the duo Gabriel and Dresden; Gabriel, announced in a post on the duo’s verified Instagram account that he is taking a hiatus from touring and music production due to a recent heart attack, “burnout, exhaustion and overall being pushed to my limit.”

Fans of Gabriel & Dresden were shocked to read the post, as the duo had been touring and producing music consistently for many years. However, Gabriel reassured fans that he was home from the hospital and on the road to recovery.

In our final story news story,  David Guetta’s entire dance music catalog has been acquired by Warner Music, including hits like “Hey Mama,” “Titanium,” and “Turn Me On.” The new deal will see Warner Music acquiring Guetta’s worldwide catalog from the last two decades, as well as any future recordings.

The exact sum of the pact has not been publicly confirmed, but it is rumored that Warner Music spent over $100 million on the acquisition. This is a huge coup for the music giant, and will no doubt help them solidify their position in the dance music genre.

Our final artist Femme is from Melbourne, Australia. She is a DJ and Producer who has quickly made a name for herself in the music industry.
